  1. Jun 25, 2003Masterplan Announces New Appointments of Senior Management

    Chatsworth, CA — Masterplan today announced the appointment of Amy McElroye as Vice President and General Manager of Maintenance Management Programs as well as Francis Vonder Haar as Vice President and General Manager of Imaging Services. These new positions have been created as a result of the tremendous growth Masterplan has experienced over the last several years.

    Ms. McElroye has over 13 years experience in the healthcare environment and has held management and leadership positions in sales and operations with companies such as Eastman Kodak Company and General Electric Medical Systems. Ms. McElroye has been with Masterplan since June 2002. Prior to joining Masterplan, Ms. McElroye served as Division Vice President, Central Zone for General Electric Medical Systems Clinical Services Business.

    Mr. Vonder Haar joined the Masterplan team in June 2001 and brings over 15 years of diagnostic imaging equipment expertise. Mr. Vonder Haar previously served as Service Manager for General Electric Medical Systems, St. Louis Region. His expertise in leadership and in the imaging services arena provides Masterplan with a substantial opportunity to secure and maintain a role of leadership in the marketplace.

    Other recent management changes include the resignation of Mr. Adam Coffey. Mr. Coffey has departed to pursue another opportunity outside of the medical industry. Under the new organizational structure, the company has no plans to replace the position of President previously held by Mr. Coffey. “Masterplan is a strong, rapidly growing, profitable company with a great future and we are excited about the new organizational changes,” said Bruce Cree, Chairman and CEO of Masterplan. “I would like to recognize Adam Coffey for his contribution to the success of Masterplan and wish him the best of luck in his new endeavor.”

  1. Dec 1, 2001Masterplan and Catholic Healthcare West Sign Multi-Year Comprehensive Service Agreement for Southern California

    Chatsworth, CA — Masterplan today announced the signing of an exclusive three-year agreement with 15 Southern California Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) hospitals to provide comprehensive maintenance management programs. Under this agreement, service on all clinical and diagnostic imaging equipment in these 15 CHW facilities will be covered by Masterplan, the nation’s largest independent service organization.

    Catholic Healthcare West annually cares for more than 300,000 patients; provides more than $400 million in community benefits and care for the poor; and employs approximately 40,000 people. “We are excited that CHW has selected Masterplan as its maintenance management provider," said Bruce Cree, Chairman and CEO. “We are looking forward to working with such a well known high quality healthcare provider.”

  2. Nov 16, 2001Amerinet and Masterplan Sign Agreement for Maintenance Services

    St. Louis, MO, November 15, 2001 -- AmeriNet, Inc., the nation’s largest membership-based health care group purchasing organization (GPO), has signed an agreement with Masterplan to offer Masterplan’s maintenance services to the member facilities of AmeriNet’s shareholder, Intermountain Health Care. The agreement became effective September 15, 2001.

    Masterplan provides on-site maintenance services ranging from single modality to comprehensive maintenance programs on sophisticated diagnostic imaging and clinical medical devices. “We are delighted to have this opportunity to work with AmeriNet and Intermountain Health Care,” said Bruce Cree, chairman and chief executive officer of Masterplan. “Masterplan offers the diagnostic imaging market a high-value alternative to original equipment manufacturing service, while maintaining quality and uptime guarantees.   1. Feb 22, 2000Masterplan and Triad Hospitals Inc. Sign Multi-Year Comprehensive Service Agreement

    Chatsworth, CA — Masterplan today announced the signing of a four-year agreement with Triad Hospitals Inc. to provide comprehensive maintenance management programs to all of Triad’s 27 hospitals and 13 ambulatory surgery centers. Under this agreement, service on all clinical, diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment in Triad facilities will be covered by Masterplan, the nation’s largest independent service organization.

    An investor-owned hospital group that spans 11 states, Triad Hospitals (NASDAQ:TRIH) spun off in May 1999 from Columbia HCA where its equipment was serviced under the General Electric CompreCare program. Masterplan itself became an independent organization when it separated from COHR in May 1999. “This commitment by a major hospital group shows that we’ve been recognized as a leading provider of technology management services to the healthcare industry,” said Bruce Cree, President and CEO.

  1. Apr 9,1999COHR MasterPlan to be Separated as a Stand-Alone Business Unit of COHR/New COHR MasterPlan President and CEO Appointed

    Chatsworth, CA — COHR Inc. (COHR) announced today that COHR MasterPlan will be separated as a stand-alone business unit of COHR by the end of June 1999. The ownership of COHR MasterPlan will not change as a result of this action. In addition, the company appointed Bruce Cree as President and CEO of the COHR Masterplan subsidiary, which is the nation’s largest independent provider of technical services to health care organizations.
